The Best Beach Club in Marbella for a Relaxing Day on the Mediterranean
Marbella is a coastal town in Andalusia, Spain known for its beautiful Mediterranean beaches, luxurious shopping, upscale resorts, and happening day/nightclubs. Corey and I spent two days here during our recent anniversary trip to Spain and fell in love with the flower covered whitewashed buildings in Marbella’s charming old town.
While planning our trip, we had heard that Marbella’s beaches were some of the best in Andalusia and therefore were planning to spend one of our days in town relaxing by the sea. We learned that Beach Clubs are a popular activity for vacationers in Marbella due to the thriving nightlife scene, and there were endless options to choose from in the area. But, as we did our research, we saw that many of the clubs were boasting a Vegas-style party scene, which, while fun, wasn’t the vibe we were looking for on our anniversary trip.
So, we arrived in Marbella without our beach day planned, hoping to find what we were looking for via a tip from a local or fellow traveler. While we weren’t able to snag any hot tips, we were determined to find the type of Beach Club we were envisioning – as Corey put it, “I just want to relax on the beach and be served delicious food and drinks.”
Luckily, through some last minute online searching, Corey found the best beach club in Marbella for a relaxing day: Nosso Beach Club.
It was everything we had imagined and more! Comfortable beach chairs right on the Mediterranean Sea, a fantastic high quality restaurant, and classy relaxing vibes – there was even a dedicated masseuse tent offering 30-60 minute massages.
And to top it all off, our lunch from the Nosso restaurant was absolutely fantastic. We had the BEST croquettes of the entire trip here! The thinly sliced, melted jamón fat on top of each piece made them so decadent and delicious.
Well, there you have it! Nosso is the best beach club for couples looking for a relaxing day by the beach in Marbella.
Pro Tip: We were lucky to get into Nosso at the last minute, but I highly recommend booking your beach chairs in advance on their website to save your spot.

By the way, our favorite hotel of the trip was also in Marbella! If you’re looking for a place to stay, I can’t recommend Hotel Claude enough. This luxury boutique hotel is set in a converted seventeenth-century manor house, which was home to both Claude Devoize, the French opera singer, and Eugenia de Montijo, Empress of France and wife of Napoleon III.
The staff was so friendly and attentive and the attention-to-detail in the decor was out of this world. We stayed in the Chic Suite with the light-up ceiling and it was even dreamier in person.
